Yes, we do follow the CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommended vaccine schedule. As healthcare providers for children, we believe in protecting our patients from these preventable diseases.
We take many insurance plans! It is always a good idea, however, to check with your individual insurance carrier to see if Pearsall Pediatrics is listed under your plan.
We have several facilities to refer our patients to specialists, based on your individual healthcare plan.
Your child should not only see the pediatrician for an illness. It is also important to schedule well-child-care exams regularly, beginning in infancy. Also called well-care visits or routine check-ups, these routine examinations provide the best opportunity for the doctor to observe the progress of your child’s physical and mental growth and development; to counsel and teach parents; to detect problems through screening tests; to provide immunizations, and to get to know one another. Well-care visits are strongly recommended as part of preventive pediatric care.
We understand that sometimes circumstances prevent you from keeping your scheduled appointment. If this happens, please notify our office in advance, as soon as possible (Please give at least 24-48 hours notice). Our scheduling coordinators will do their best to promptly reschedule your appointment.
