Immunization Visits

Welcome to Pearsall Pediatrics, where we prioritize the health and well-being of your child through comprehensive vaccination services. Our commitment to your child’s safety starts with thorough explanations of each vaccine administered during every visit, ensuring that you feel confident in their complete protection. We have carefully curated a vaccine schedule that minimizes discomfort by covering all necessary vaccinations with as few injections as possible. Additionally, we provide annual flu vaccines starting from 6 months of age, along with the COVID vaccine.
Vaccines play a vital role in safeguarding against numerous diseases that were once prevalent. By reducing the incidence, contagiousness, and severity of dangerous and potentially life-threatening infections, vaccines have greatly diminished the prevalence of illnesses such as tetanus, diphtheria, mumps, measles, pertussis (whooping cough), meningitis, and polio.
Our vaccine schedule aligns with the recommendations of esteemed organizations like the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices). For a detailed overview, you can refer to the CDC’s vaccine schedule at [insert CDC vaccine schedule link].
To make it easier for you to understand and follow the vaccination process, we have provided user-friendly vaccine schedules on our website. You can find the Pearsall Pediatrics Vaccine Schedule, as well as the CDC Schedule for Children from Birth to 6 Years Old and 7 to 18 Years Old.
Keeping up with the evolving recommendations and the availability of vaccines for children, we prioritize discussions regarding the COVID vaccination during your visits. As guidelines continue to change, we ensure you stay informed and make the best choices for your child’s health.
Flu shots are typically available from early September through April, depending on the flu season. In the first year, your child will require two separate doses administered one month apart. Subsequently, they will only need a single dose every year. We also offer Flumist, a nasal spray alternative to the flu shot, for children aged 2 and above.
At Pearsall Pediatrics, we believe in the power of vaccinations to provide lifelong protection and promote the well-being of your child. Trust us to guide you through the vaccination process and ensure your child’s health remains our top priority.
